There is a sort of magic that happens when creating a well -designed home. It’s a wonderful marriage of beauty, function, and the spirit of the people who live within the walls. My favorite projects are the ones where we incorporate a family antique that carries a fond memory, hang an art gallery wall solely created by the children, or breathe new life into your grandmother’s sofa. My projects have taken me all over the country and each home transformation still enchants me.
I have proclaimed “white” as my favorite color and “timeless” as my design aesthetic. I also refer to myself as a “design nerd” as my devotion to the details in a home astonishes even myself most days.
After 10 years in the beautiful DC area, my husband and I made our home in Fort Worth Texas where we are raising our 2 children and enjoying our life with our 2 cats, our dog Livvy, and honey bees. Most days you can find me in the design studio but some days I sneak away to “treasure hunt” antiques for my projects. There’s just something about a piece of furniture with a story. You may see me on an episode of “Hoarders” one day as my affliction for collecting furniture is a real one.
